• Evaluation & Benchmarks: Document how we know the system works. Include metrics, baseline comparison points, and concrete performance numbers (runtime, throughput).
• Failure Modes & Edge Cases: Document failure modes uncovered through operation: inputs that break it, silent degradations, and edge cases.
• Decision Log: Keep a brief log of major decisions (Why X over Y) to save successors from re-litigating choices.
